The Cable Factor Vol 2: 35 Distinctive Designs contains 35 original cable designs with a distinctively different appearance, created by unusual movement of the traveling stitches. Although these stitch patterns are non-traditional, great care has been taken to create harmonious movement within the patterning. In many instances the progression of stitches is not predictable, unlike the arrangement of more instinctive cable designs. There’s nothing really difficult about knitting them, however, as long as one follows the directions closely.

Distinctive details include various knots and plaits, very open patterning, out-of-the-ordinary shapes, and sinuous pathways. Some just seem extra special to me, not particularly unusual, simply pleasing to my eyes.
