This cowl is quite a bit shorter than most double-wrap cowls. I always find that I have a huge gap that lets in all that frigid air and I wanted this to be snug and solidly warm.

I have marked the difficulty of this pattern as an “Advanced Beginner”. Although all of the stitches are easy and more than likely mastered at this stage, it is important to watch your gauge throughout the entire construction of the pattern and there are also places where you will need to pay closer attention to what you are doing in order to achieve the desired outcome.
