This is The Cat Bonnet… a bonnet for cats.

This is a great stashbusher project for all those half-used worsted weight yarn balls! This is knit starting from the top, and then the back of the head is shaped while leaving room for the ears. The back and sides are worked in stockinette until the ribbed hem. Pick up and cast on stitches to create a ribbed brim.

The gauge for this pattern is 20 st x 24 rows in st st on 5.0 mm needles using worsted weight yarn. You will need less than half a skein, making this perfect for those random tiny leftover balls.

To bind off, you will use a darning needle.

This pattern is for personal use only.
