The Chantilly-dally Pillow: a sumptuously soft cable cushion cover inspired by Chantilly lace. Perfect for lazing away winter days ☺️

The cover is available in one size (38cm square) and has a zip fastening. A photo tutorial is included with the pattern for the pillow’s construction. The sides are joined with a simple mattress seam.

This uses c.375m (410 yds) of DK weight yarn. I used 2x skeins of Juniper Moon Farm Herriot, which is baby alpaca. It’s beautifully soft and squidgy but any DK weight yarn will do. Natural fibres do tend to be better for cables though!

In addition to the yarn, you will need a zip (at least 38cm), a tapestry needle, and a sewing needle and thread.

The gauge is 22sts and 22 rows in the cable pattern and this is suitable for a knitter with some experience of cables.

The pattern contains written instructions with a chart, and a photo tutorial of the tricky parts. Feel free to contact me at bee@bumbleandbrush.co.uk if you have any queries!
