This pattern is a made to measure and size inclusive design, this means you take your own measurements as indicated in the pattern and then follow the instructions. This means it can be made for any size and age.

The pattern is an advanced beginner level, there are detailed instructions and images along the way. It also includes a diagram for the pineapple lace stitch.
You will need any type of sport weight cotton yarn and a 3.5mm crochet hook. For the sample size (UK 8), I used roughly 1000m of yarn. You will also need elastic (size between 2-8mm) which will be placed into the waistline, a drawstring can be made instead if prefer.
