The Chantilly top is a made to measure and size inclusive pattern, this means you measure yourself first as pattern suggests and then follow the instructions. This means it can be made for any size and age.
The pattern is an advanced beginner level that uses US terminology.
The pattern contains written instructions throughout, and a stitch graph for the pineapple lace stitch. There are photos throughout but no photos for the pineapple lace repeat, only instructions and a graph.
You will need any type of 4ply (fingering weight) cotton yarn, a 3mm crochet hook and elastic (optional) if you want extra hold at the top of the shoulders. Elastic should be size between 2-8mm. I used roughly 1050m of yarn for the sample size which is a small (UK 8).
