The Charlie Hat
A bottom-up design, the Charlie hat tests and teaches some skills while also being just a bit repetitive so as to not have to check every stitch in every row. Using twined and mosaic knitting techniques, this is a great introduction to colorwork for newbies to the skill. And the texture and multiple colors/tones make this hat a very enjoyable and quick knit for all skill levels. I have thoroughly enjoyed changing up the color repeats-- don’t be afraid to make yours, your own way! Once you dive in, you’ll be knitting this hat several times over!
