Why should tiny yarn get all the mosaic knitting love?
Bulky yarn makes bold geometric shapes in a flash!

The techniques for this pattern are easy! You only need knit, purl, and slipped stitches to create the pattern, and only one colour of yarn is used at a time. This is a great introduction to the techniques used for “mosaic knitting”, and creates a warm and comfy cowl in no time.

Yarn:
Bulky or Super Bulky yarn (yarn weight 5-6) in two colours, approximately 80 yards of the background colour and 40 yards of the stripe colour. Holding two strands of worsted weight yarn together also works! Sample shown in Bernat Beyond in Black and Smoke.

Gauge is not critical for this project, but will affect the finished size and yardage required.

Needles: 24.5”/62cm long size US 11/8mm circular needles

Finished Dimensions: Finished dimensions are 10”/25.5cm high by 11”/28cm wide lying flat; approximately 23”/58.5cm circumference
