First a word of caution: This is not a full pattern written out in traditional form. This is my pattern notes, diagrams for the motifs and part motifs, and tips and tricks to create your own version of the Charlotte Wrap. Your own yarn needs, type, hook size, and garment size and shaping can be altered by you to fit your needs exactly by using the notes and making adjustments where you need. There will be math. There will be measuring. There will be swatch making, washing, and blocking. This pattern allows you to make a garment specific to your style and size needs with the yarn and hook size of your choice. I used about about 3000 yards of lace weight yarn held double to make a wrap about five feet across and twenty inches deep. You will have to determine your own yarn needs based on the yarn you personally choose for this project.

This happy wrap uses flower motifs in various shades of purple, teal, and blue with pops of oranges and yellow to create a wrap with wonderful drape perfect for a summer evening when a little warmth is a welcome thing. I used to strands of lace weight yarn held double to create the flowers. Using my notes, you can adjust the yarn to whatever size you desire. Included in this pattern are the motif diagrams, edge diagrams, and traditional written instructions for the motifs. There is a layout guide for how to arrange the motifs and guidance about how to select and organize colors. This is a fun project for letting your color ideas loose. If you are up for a bit of designing fun, come along!
