The Checked Coat
This waistcoat has been designed by Margaret Eton in response to a request from many knitters for a simple woollen blouse to take the place of a silk one, and to button down the front rather than slip over the head. It may be worn under a tweed coat or jacket, or as a top jacket if preferred.
Note: An updated version of this pattern was published in Vintage Knits - from the National Library of Australia.
