The PDF file consists of a total of 5 pages, including cover, images, copyright and information about the designer. There is step by step pictures and detailed instructions to make the OVERSIZED crochet scarf pictured in this listing.
This is a PDF file for a chunky oversized crochet scarf pattern. It was written using standard US terminology.
APPROXIMATE SIZE OF THE FINISHED SCARF:
You can make it as big as you like. There is a tutorial for the stitch showing you the multiples to make it the size you want.
The pictured scarf size is 75” (191 cm) long and 19” 48 cm) wide, excluding the fringe.
YARN USED:
Worsted weight (#4) yarn.
Approximate amount of yarn needed:
For the pictured scarf I used a total of 1183 yds (1082 m).
MATERIALS AND TOOLS:
5.00 mm (US H) hook
Scissors
Stitch Markers (optional)
Measuring tape
Gauge:
Gauge is not important for this project. You can easily adjust the size by using the stitch multiples and crochet as many rows as needed to your desired length.
But for reference the pattern gauge is 11.5 sts x 9 rows = 4”, considering you will use the same yarn and hook size I did.
LANGUAGE:
English (US)
LEVEL OF DIFFICULTY: Easy.
You will need these skills: chain, single crochet, double crochet, fasten off, weave in ends, yarn color change, adding fringe (optional). I included instructions for the fringe, color change and for the stitch. I DO NOT OFFER VIDEO TUTORIALS FOR MY PATTERNS.
