The Chunky Baby Sweater is a sweater for babies and toddlers. This classic raglan worked in the round on circular needles top-down with raglan increases. This pattern is so customizable depending on your length preferences. This pullover should be worn with 6-10 inches/16-25 cm in positive ease at the chest.

Sweater sizes: 0-3 months (3-6 months) 6-12 months (12-24 months)
The sizes 0-3 months (3-6 months) 6-12 months (12-24 months) correspond to a chest measurement of approximately 14.5-16 (16-17.5) 17.5-19 (19-20.5) inches/36-40 (40-44) 44-48 (48-52) cm.

Finished approx. measurements (after blocking):
Chest circumference:
0-3 months - 22 inches/56 cm
3-6 months - 23.5 inches/60 cm
6-12 months - 27 inches/69 cm
12-24 months - 28.5 inches/73 cm

Gauge swatch (blocked):
9 stitches x 19 rows in garter stitch on the U.S. 15 (10 mm) needles = 4x4 inches/10x10 cm

Suggested needles:
U.S. 15 (10 mm) circular needles and U.S. 15 (10 mm) double-pointed needles, if the sleeves are will be not worked using the Magic Loop Technique (or the necessary needle size to obtain gauge)

Suggested yarn:
Super Bulky (5-6 wpi) weight yarn (acrylic 80 %, alpaca 20 % 170g (6.00 Oz) = 130 yds (119 m): 200 (250) 300 (350) g. Alpaca from K+C was used.
