Materials and tools:
Crocheting the bear, to create the multi-layering of colour I use two yarns held together (Drops Flora + Drops Alpaca)

  1. Yarn for bear Drops Flora 65% wool, 35% alpaca, 50g (1.8 oz)/210m (230 yds), colour 08
  2. Yarn for bear Drops Alpaca 100% alpaca, 50g (1.8 oz)/167m (183 yds), colour 0607
  3. Any sport/fine alpaca yarn for collar and cap. You may use: a) Lang Yarns Baby Alpaca 100% alpaca, 50g (1.8 oz)/169m (185 yds) b) Drops Alpaca 100% alpaca, 50g (1.8 oz)/167m (183 yds)
  4. Black or brown embroidery yarn for nose
  5. Plastic eyes diameter 3 mm or 4 mm
  6. Toy filling
  7. Hook size 2mm for bear and 3 mm for collar
  8. Tapestry needle for sewing details and thin embroidery needle for nose
  9. Scissors
  10. A stitch marker to mark beginning of rounds
