The classic top is as stated by the name a classical piece that can be worn to a wide range of outfits. It has the aim to be elegant and timeless. It is quite fitted to the body with only a few cm of positive ease, so in case of doubt please select a larger size.
Construction of the top: The top is knitted top down starting with the upper back, stitches will be picked up at both shoulders to work the left and right front at the beginning separately, after the connection of the fronts the increases towards the armpits are knitted.

The sizes above are in accordance to European standard, with a circumference:

SUGGESTED NEEDLES:

The Top is knitted on needle size 4,0.

For the collar and ribbings the suggested needle size is 3,0.

GAUGE:
19 sts x 27 rows = 10 x 10 cm

The swatch is knitted in stockinette st with two the strands of yarn held together. Remark: The complete top is knitted with two strands of yarn held together.

MATERIALS:
To knit the top you need 75/75/100/100/100 gr of Premia from LAMANA 300m/25g (60% Mohair, 40% silk) held together with 50/ 75/ 100/100/125 Modena from LAMANA 335m / 25gr (70 % wool, 30% cashmere).
The Top on the photo is knitted in the colour muskat (both colour No. 47).

Of course, you can choose any other yarn as long as you obtain the right gauge.
