Pattern Story and Notes:
The Classic Wool Sock pattern was born when I came across a lovely yarn made in Sweden - Gute by Berga. The yarn reminded me of the local Romanian yarn that our grandmothers used to knit with.
I don’t remember having such a pair as a child, so it was decided - the yarn would become socks. It’s a simple and fast knit, with basic knitting stitches. Easy for beginners as well.

Yarn: 60gr (75gr, 100gr) 100%Wool Gute, by Berga - made in Sweden 1 skein MC, 1/2 skein CC
Yarn Weight: Bulky / 12 ply (7 wpi)
Gauge: 15st + 20rows = 10/10cm (4/4in) Needles: 5mm needles (8 US)
