Knit this beautiful, delicately scalloped cowl to complete your Cloisters set! It drapes elegantly and can easily be knit to a larger
circumference by inserting an extra pattern repeat or two if you’d like to wear it doubled with a little more space! Just make sure to purchase an extra skein if you do so! Folded or not, this cowl will keep you warm in style.

MATERIALS

Yarn

La Bien Aimée Merino DK
2 skeins (252 yds/230 m/115 g)

OR

2 yarns held together:
La Bien Aimée Merino Singles 2 skein (400 yds/366 m/100 g)

La Bien Aimée Mohair Silk 1 skein (547 yds/500 m/50 g)

The sample shown used 181 grams of La Bien Aimée Merino DK (or roughly 1.5 skeins).

A tester who knit the cowl with two strands of fingering together reported that she needed 795 yards of fingering weight held double. You may be able to complete the cowl in the doubled yarn version with only one skein each of La Bien Aimée Merino Singles and La Bien Aimée Mohair silk, but if you have any concerns about running out it is safer to get a second skein of the Merino Singles.
