The Cloud Crop Top

Welcome to a little slice of heaven! This is a cropped, long sleeved sweater with extra thick collar and cuffs for extra squishy warmth in the Fall and Winter months. Cropped sweaters are all the rage right now and can be easily paired with an A-line skirt, dress, or high waisted pants to be fashionable at any age!

Lion Brand LB Collection Chainette is the suggested yarn for this pattern but suitable worsted weight yarn can be substituted for luxury at any price point.

This is an intermediate level written pattern using US crochet terminology. You should be comfortable doing slip stitch ribbing, working in the third loop of a HDC stitch, and seaming using a whip stitch.

Estimated yardage for each size is as follows:
XS (to fit 28-30” bust): 950 yards
S (to fit 32-34” bust): 1,130 yards
M (to fit 36-38” bust): 1,140 yards
L (to fit 40-42” bust): 1,295 yards
XL (to fit 44-46” bust): 1,385 yards
2XL (to fit 48-50” bust): 1,485 yards
3XL (to fit 52-54” bust): 1,565 yards
4XL (to fit 56-58” bust): 1,680 yards (untested)*
5XL (to fit 60-62” bust): 1,795 yards (untested)*

Sizing is based on CYC standard women’s measurements. The garment offers 2-4” of positive ease depending on the user’s bust measurements. Please make sure to obtain gauge for optimal results.
