The Cold Never Bothered Me Anyway
Glittering snowflakes and ice crystals sparkle from a crescent shaped shawlette.
I don’t care
what they’re going to say
Let the storm rage on …
the cold never bothered me anyway.
There are a lot of beads (approximately 300), but the pattern is easy enough to read from your knitting once you get going - and generous use of stitch markers will make keeping track pretty straightforward.
Note: on the small snowflakes, rows 17 &29, the beads and yarn overs should trade spots, so that the bead is in the center of the diagonal. A chart update will be posted shortly.
Short row shaping uses decreases at the turns, so no wrapping is needed: detailed explanations are included, so if you haven’t done short rows before, don’t let that stop you!
A variation with a more compact centre crystal will be posted as an update to the pattern shortly (and if you already have the pattern, you’ll get notified automatically and be able to download the new charts) - that version is in test knitting at the moment!
The first fifty giveaway copies are gone… That was fast!
