The collar is knitted in flat from bottom up with double pointed needles ( any type of needle can be used). The finishing of the button hole can be both achived by a crochet hook or knitting, explained
in the pattern. Finished collar is 10cm wide around the neck (excluding the button hole and the button) and 2 cm long. The collar can be used as an individual accessory to layer or can be stitched to an existing outfit such as a dress or a sweater.
This pattern is made for froggy knitted with 3 mm needles, finished froggy is approximately 12 cm tall. The same collar also fits the badger, the fox, the bunny and the ducky pattern of Claire Garland (aka dotpebbles_knits, you can purchase it from her etsy shop.) and many similar small knitted friends! (This pattern doesn’t include the animal patterns mentioned.)

Materials
Yarn: Drops Alpaca Uni Color 100 Natural
Gauge: 30 sts * 40 rows (10cm* 10cm) garther stitch (this pattern can be knit with smaller or bigger
needle and any type of yarn to achive bigger or smaller size of collar if preferred)
Needle: 2,5 mm circular, flat or dpns
Tapestry needle,
1,25 mm crochet hook for the button hole loop (knitting option explained)
Small button of your choice (around 5mm) If you wish to use a bigger button, please increase the stitch amount for the button hole making.
