The Constance Scarf
A friend of mine is retiring and wanted something out of her comfort zone of blue/green hippy dippy accessories.
So I perused my knitting stitch dictionaries and came up with this scarf/stole. It was knit from 2 skeins of Debbie Bliss Angel in light candy pink. Lovely stuff, but really annoying to tink back.
It can be made wider (by adding extra repeats; the pattern is actually 2 separate stitch patterns arranged as A,B,B,A where to make it wider just repeat B whatever desired amount of times) or longer.
I would also think it would be lovely beaded or in different weight yarns. I will likely do up another (or two) to try these out.
The last pic more accurately displays the colour.
Blocked it came to 10 inches wide by 6.6 feet long.
Super soft and light as air.
If anyone chances to knit this up, please let me know if there are any errors or misunderstandings.
Errata:
Caught one. Sorry for any tinking back for anyone knitting this. I forgot to add the decreases for rows 11-20 on repeat A. I’ve uploaded a new chart.
