The Cosmology tee is really what the name suggests: it’s own cosmos, with a range of different possibilities, including 2 options for yarn weight and gauge, and with or without a pretty picot pattern.

The top is SEAMLESS and made TOP-DOWN, creating a modern silhouette. The raglan seam is compound to ensure a better fit.

The pattern makes the top look beaded, without adding any beads, which can be a tedious procedure.

The top comes in 11 sizes, and the size range depends on which yarn weight you are intending to use (or which gauge you achieve).

Fingering weight

The fingering weight gauge has a size range of (including positive ease): (68-76-83) (93-103-113-123) (133-143-153-163) cm /32.75 (36.5-40.5-44.5-48.5) (52.25-56.25-60.25-64) in.

Hook size: 4.5mm / US 7

Yardage: (4-4-4) (5-5-6-6) (7-7-8-9) skeins (50 g) or 800 (1000-1000-1200-1200) (1400-1400-1600-1800) yds made in 1 colour

For a 2-coloured version, you need a bit less of the main colour + (1-1-1) (2-2-2-2) (3-3-3-3) skeins (50 g) in a 2nd colour for the picot pattern in fingering or light fingering weight yarn

Gauge: 18 sts per 10 cm & 18 rows

DK weight

The DK weight gauge has a size range of (including positive ease): (81-91-103) (112-126-138-150) (162-174-186-198) cm / (31.75-35.75-40.5) (44-49.5-54.25-59) (63.75-68.5-73.25-80) in.

Hook: 6 mm / US J-10

Gauge: 15 sts & 16 rows (you may have to add to the length with DK)

Yardage: (6-6-7) (7-8-9-10) (11-12-13-14) skeins (50 g) or (790-790-920) (920-1050-1200-1320) (1450-1580-1710-1840) yds if made in 1 colour
