The longline length of the cosmopolitan cardigan, combined with tapered shoulders and neckline, creates a flattering style on all body shapes. While the chevron style stitch pattern creates a fantastic texture that catches light beautifully.

Designed in just three pieces (body & sleeves) this pastern features minimal seams and sewing. The sleeves have been designed in a way that ensures the seam is located at your shoulder rather than part way down your arm as more traditional styles feature.

The cardigans photographed were made using Cascade 220, 100% wool to create a cosy winter version and Hobbii’s Metallico Aran which includes a beautiful shimmer. Despite being listed as Aran weight, it’s important to note that both of these yarns work up as worsted weight yarns or a thick dk.

If you’d prefer something more lightweight for summer, a soft bamboo and cotton mix blend yarn, such as Sirdar Sublime Isla, would be perfect.
