The Coubertin Cloches
Designed for the 2024 Progress, Hope & Happiness Collection Before + After = Now, The Coubertin Cloches were inspired by the fashions of before and the hats worn daily by ladies who, like my grandmas, wouldn’t dream of leaving the house hatless.
You’re invited to the Happiness Make-A-Long which runs from July 19th though to September 2nd, 2024.
Please join us!
The Coubertin Cloches are worked in the round from the crown and are identical down to the brim. Coubertin can be modified for fit whereas Chaumet is not as flexible due to the use of motifs in the brim, which is crocheted as a separate piece.
The cloches feature the beautiful Paint ‘n Rinse Series: Rustic Single in the Ice Block colourway developed by Voie de Vie Yarn for this collection.
Coubertin used approximately 45 g; 197 yds (179 m).
Chaumet used approximately 60 g; 262 yds (239 m).
Finished Sizes: The Coubertin Cloche is 4.5 inches (11 cm) from brim to crown and has a circumference of 22 inches (56 cm).
The Chaumet Cloche is 6 inches (15 cm) from brim to crown and has a circumference of 22 inches (56 cm).
