A simple to knit cowl that can dress up any outfit and be sure to keep you warm.

Main body is all knitted until the bind off row where stitches are dropped and braided. Photo tutorial included. Edges are picked up and bound off with a decorative picot bind off.

I recommend Lion Brand Wool-Ease Thick and Quick for this project. Approximately 1 1/2 balls are enough to create the cowl. Alternately, any yarn that roughly fits the gauge can be used.
