The croissant hat is made top-down, mostly in single crochet and then with some decorative rows in a contrasting colour. It comes in 2 sizes.

The hat is made in sizes S/M and L, corresponding to a head circumference of
(S/M-L) 55-60 cm/ 21.75-23.5. There should be 1-2 cm/0.5 in. of positive ease. More is also possible, but then it will have a more relaxed fit on the head.

To clarify, that means that you should choose the smaller size if your head circumference is 53-54 cm (below 21.25 in.), and M/L if your head size is 55-59 cm (above 21.25 in).
