The Cuadrado Cardigan is worked sideways using scrap yarn to hold stitches for the arms which are later picked up and knit in the round. Worsted weight yarn makes this cardigan cozy warm and it can be held together with a pin in the front. It’s a blanket you can wear all day and still look great.

Finished Back Measurement (measured from shoulder bone to shoulder bone across the back): 14 (16.5, 20)”/ 36 (42, 50) cm.
Finished Length from underarm: 14.5 (15.5, 16)”/ 37 (39, 41) cm. Refer to the diagram on Page 3 for more detailed measurements. Shown here in Size M. I prefer very long sleeves so adjust if necessary.

Gauge
16 sts/26 rows = 4”/10cm in stockinette stitch on larger needles. Adjust needle size if necessary to obtain the correct gauge.

Yarn:
Any worsted weight yarn that knits up at the required gauge.
