The Cutbanks are an iconic landmark on the banks of the Nechako and Fraser Rivers in Prince George BC, on the territory of the Lheili
T’enneh where the two rivers meet.

The Cutbank Girls is a knitting and yarnie podcast on YouTube, and the hosts are Darlene and Jaylene who call themselves “sweater sisters.”

The Cutbank Cowl highlights the unique beauty of The Cutbanks in late winter or early spring with a variety of stitches and five colours to indicate snow, dirty snow, sandbank, forest, and sky. However, the cowl would look great in any combination of colours and is a great stashbuster. Wouldn’t a neon Cutbank Cowl look amazing?

The pattern is written for two weights of yarn: DK and Aran.
