The Daan Hat is a hat that can be knitted with fingering weight yarn, but also with DK weight yarn (taking gauge into account). The pattern can be knitted using the pattern only, or you can use the option to prevent crookedness of the figures. The hat is designed as a fitted hat and there is a possibility to lengthen the crown of the hat. The hat is knitted from the buttom up.

circular needles: 3.5 mm (US4) 40 cm
double pointed needles: 3.5 mm

Gauge: 22 st x 32 rounds = 10 x 10 cm stockinette stitch

Main colour: 100, (100), 100 grams fingering weight yarn (100 g = 450-470 m) held double
Contrasting colour: 40, (40), 40 grams fingering weight yarn (held double)

The dark brown hat is knitted with lang yarns alpaca soxx 4 ply held double and self spun ouessant yarn in DK

The lighter brown hat is knitted with sadness garn Sunday held double with double Sunday as contrast colour.
