The Dahlia Headband
I designed this pattern because I wanted a headband that was thick enough to cover my ears without having to adjust it all the time. I love wearing hats in the winter, but I wanted something that I could slip on easily if I was wearing my hair in a bun or ponytail. The Dahlia Headband is all of these things in one! It is thick, soft, and incredibly warm.
This is a beautiful, easy pattern for beginner crocheters. If you can single and double crochet, you can make this headband! This headband uses the grit stitch to create a delicate floret-like fabric. Using a category 6 Super Bulky yarn, it works up quickly and is a popular item at craft fairs and markets.
This pattern creates a product that is one size fits most adult women, but it can be easily customized to fit children.
This is a level 1 Easy Beginner crochet pattern.
This pattern is written in standard US terms.
