The Daisy Cardigan
The Daisy Cardigan has been in the works for a very long time. I was inspired by a knitted cardigan and wanted to make my own crochet version. It has turned out exactly as I’d imagined. The garment is worked in a raglan style from the top down. The featured texture is a half double crochet v-stitch. I would consider this an intermediate pattern although there are 10 video tutorials included if you are a brave beginner. When the yoke and body are finished the sleeves are stitched directly onto the garment. The bottom edging, sleeves and inside edging are accented by single crochet ribbing. Get your hook ready and make as many flowers as you would like to adorn your cardigan or leave the flowers off for a gender neutral look.
Materials:
5.0mm (U.S H/8) crochet hook or size needed to obtain gauge.
Aran yarn. I used Cascade 220 in Forest Heather & Summer Sky Heather. For the flowers I used Butter & Natural. 200m/219yds/100g per skein.

17sts/ 16rows= 10cmX10cm (4X4 inch) in half double crochet v-stitch, explanation in pattern notes.
