The Dance
Loom knit accent scarf pattern.
“The Dance” Loom Knitting Pattern: Clever stitches dance back and forth creating gentle curves which hug the body when worn. Variegated yarn emphasizes the directional changes.
Level: Confident beginner. Skills used are knit, purl, short rows, chain bind off/cast on and pattern reading. There is no increasing/decreasing or yarn overs used in this pattern. Although it looks complicated, it isn’t! This is a fun pattern to make using short rows (turns within the rows, very easy, no wraps to pick up either). Video links are available within the pattern to skills used. The pattern itself is NOT videotaped. I do not do video patterns.
Loom needed: ½” peg spacing loom with at least 24 pegs. A 5/8” peg spacing loom should also work using 24 pegs and worsted weight yarn (in a natural fiber) although this has not been tested (size will vary if using a different loom and yarn).
Yarn needed: Natural fiber in light worsted to worsted. Sample scarf was worked using merino wool and light worsted (the manufacturer has recently changed weight to DK).
ALL sales are FINAL and NON-REFUNDABLE once the pattern is downloaded. This is not a finished item. This is not a loom knitting tutorial, it is a pattern written in standard knitting form.
