A cowl is a great classic piece, but they can sometimes feel bulky and they don’t always fall quite right. However, when using the suggested yarn for this pattern, this cowl comes out with a wonderfully soft and light drape!

There is also a matching beanie pattern that can be found on my design page and shop. Both pieces use alternating increases and decreases of double crochet to create a “diamond” shape that pops out a bit. It is a fun and unique texture.

Please note that there is a printable, pdf version of this pattern available for sale in my Ravelry store. You can also find a free version, with ads, on my blog. To view the free version, go to: https://www.caabcrochet.com/soft-crochet-cowl-pattern-dap...
