This shawl requires 2 skeins of Berroco Ultra Alpaca - 1 skein of each of 2 colors. Gauge is especially important to obtain, in order to ensure that you will have enough yarn to complete the shawl. In my samples, I finished with less than 3 yards of color B.

Once completed, the shawl should be aggressively blocked to obtain finished size and to create a light, drapable fabric. I highly recommend the use of blocking wires to make this process easier and produce the nicest results.

The shawl is worked as one piece, but in sections. The first triangular section is worked in both colors. Stitches are then picked up along one short edge and the next section is worked in only color A. For section C, color B is worked back in. Color A is then dropped and section D is worked. The final section is completed by picking up along the outside edge and using short rows to create a simple border in color B.

Once complete, the shawl is V-shaped. The longest side is approximately 65”, with the other side being approximately 40”. The deepest part of the v measures 19”
