The Dawn Hat is crocheted from the top down beginning with a magic ring. The organic merino and cotton blend creates an accessory designed to travel through the seasons with you. Using short rows, we make a shape very reminiscent of how the sun might rise behind the ocean. 

The Dawn Hat is my contribution to A Verb For Keeping Warm’s 2019 Look Book, a collection of new designs in Kristine Vejar’s gorgeous fibers all naturally-dyed in their Oakland studio.
