I wanted a v-neck cropped sweater with loads of my favorite stitches - honeycomb cables, twisted stitches, and bobbles! I held a rustic single ply wool with a strand of silk mohair to get the perfect blend of strength and softness. This sweater is perfect with high waisted trousers and skirts or layered over dresses and tunics. Sometimes I even flip it around and wear a high neck in the front and the V-neck in the back!
SIZES
1 (2, 3, 4, 5)(6, 7, 8, 9)
#sizeinclusive
FINISHED BUST CIRCUMFERENCE
40 (44, 48, 52, 56)(60, 64, 68, 72)”
101.5 (112, 122, 132, 142)(152.5, 162.5, 173, 183) cm
Recommended ease is positive 6-12”/15 -30.5 cm; Sample is shown in Size 2 on a 34”/86.5 cm bust with 10”/25.5 cm positive ease. My testers found they preferred going down a size rather than up when between sizes, especially for the larger sizes.

Mohair (459 yds (420 m)/50 g)

1017 (1127, 1267, 1426, 1574)(1733, 1877, 2015, 2232) m
121 (134, 150, 169, 187)(206, 223, 240, 265) g
Fingering weight and Lace Mohair are held together as one strand. You can also sub in a Sport weight yarn. A number of my testers used Sport weight yarn successfully. If you purchase the weight amount called for under Fingering (IE 316 g for size 1) then you should have enough to complete the sweater. Keep in mind gauge and any modifications will effect this number and this is only a suggestion.
