The Deborah
Yarn: 2,850 (1,950, 1,425, 975, 610) yards of fingering (sport, dk, worsted/aran, bulky) weight yarn
+/– 310 (210, 155, 105, 70) yards for each inch added or subtracted to length after split
We used 5 skeins of Malabrigo Worsted in #20 “Cypress” to make the worsted/aran weight version.
Needles: US 2 (4, 6, 9, 10.5) / 2.75 (3.5, 4, 5.5, 6.5) mm 16” & 32” circulars
US 3 (5, 7, 10, 11) / 3.25 (3.75, 4.5, 6, 8) mm 16” & 40” circulars
or equivalent types & lengths in sizes needed to obtain gauge
Notions: 4 stitch markers (one unique for beginning of round), darning needle, scissors, and tape measure
Gauge: 7 (6, 5, 4, 3) stitches & 10 (8, 7, 6, 5) rows per inch on larger needles in stockinette stitch after blocking
Row gauge is not critical for this pattern but yardage needed will be affected if different than our gauge.
Sizes: One size, though instructions are given to make length shorter or longer
Measurements: see schematic.
