Notes on construction: The Delft Sweater features exciting colorwork in two different yarn qualities, lace mohair held double and fingering weight held single. You start with knitting a classic ribbed collar in the round, then place markers on two “seam” stitches for left and right shoulder, from where the seam shoulders grow contiguosly until the full body width. The front and back are then separated and knitted back and forth each, leaving the sleeve opening on the sides. After the sleeve opening, the body is closed for knitting in round again, until desired length. Sleeves are picked up from the sleeve opening, closed for knitting in round and adorned with a beautiful horseshoe cable sequence. Enjoy!
