The Diagonal Suit
A two-piece hand-knitted suit is smart and practical for autumn wear out door or in, and to-day Margaret Eton gives the directions for making one which will be a very conspicuous item of your wardrobe for quite six months. Every detail has been considered, and every point is worthy of note-the diagonal stitch, the diagonal pockets, closely fitting skirt, and simple neck treatment. The original suit, made with a light coloured wool, looks remarkably chic when worn with a contrasting jumper of dark wool.
