A beautiful diamond patterned beanie that swirls up to an amazing “sun burst” on the top of the hat! This is the first hat I ever designed which I later expanded upon to include a headband and cowl version of it! Since it is stranded (fair isle) it is nice and warm as well!

The pattern includes instruction on how to make an adult diamond beanie, slouch hat/cowl combo and a headband in worsted weight and bulky yarn, as well as a NB photo prop sized beanie in worsted weight.

The pattern is worked with two colors at once by carrying the strands of unused yarn behind the work and using them when needed. It is best to have experience with stranded/fair isle knitting.
