The Diana Sweater (Adult)
A matching children’s pattern is available here.
About The Diana Sweater:
Level—Intermediate
This sweater is worked from the top down, beginning with a yoke. One shoulder is bound off and a panel is created, before repeating for a second shoulder and panel. These panels are then joined in the round and knit to the desired length. Sizes 7-18 include built in bust darts to ensure a better fit in the upper body. The set in sleeves are constructed from the top down using German Short Rows and simple increases and decreases to make the puffs. An extensive Alteration Guide is included for customizing.
The sweater may be knit with or without the upper yoke, collar, and ruffles.
Video tutorials are linked throughout the pattern. Purchase includes a low vision file with 22 point San Serif font, with no columns or italics.

Suggested Needles:
Size 5 (3.75 mm) circular knitting needles, or size needed for correct gauge. Keep in mind that you may need a different needle size to achieve mohair gauge.
Size 3 (3.25 mm) circular knitting needles. The smaller size needles should be at least two sizes smaller than the largest needles needed for correct body gauge. You may need to size down an additional size to meet collar gauge.
Circular needle length should correspond to the chest, and possibly the waist, measurement of your garment.
To knit the sleeve cuffs: Use your preferred method for small circumference knitting—DPNs, Magic Loops, or short circular needles.
