Named for HP’s, Dobby the (free) House Elf, this is a fantastic cardigan pattern for both beginners & experienced crocheters who like projects that work up quickly and easily! The only “sewing” you will do in this pattern is up the sides of the cardigan & to sew up the top of the hood, everything else is done using simple crochet stitches!

The pattern is written with sizing for XXS/XS, XS/S, S/M, M/L, L/XL, XL/2X, 2X/3X, 3X/4X, 4X/5X and has LOTS of photos to guide you!

Materials you will need for this pattern include:

• Size 10mm crochet hook
• Tapestry Needle and scissors
• Worsted/Aran Weight (4) yarn
• Yardage: 1100 (XXS/XS), 1400(XS/S), 1700(S/M), 2000(M/L) 2300(L/XL), 2600(XL/2X), 2900(2X/3X), 3200 (3X/4X), 3500 (4X/5X)

You will be holding two strands of Worsted/Aran Weight (4) yarn together for this project OR you can cut the estimated yardage in half and use a bulky (5) weight yarn, just be sure to check your gauge!
