I love Christmas! It’s such a fun time of year and I enjoy decorating. Last year I made a few crochet ornaments. I liked making those quick, festive projects, so this year it was time to design some. These are lovely on the tree, and neither kid nor kitten is likely to break them! You’ll need about 75 yards of 3 different colors of worsted yarn. I used red, green, and white. This pattern includes instructions for making 5 “sides” : tree, snowman, mitten, heart, and a blank side. You can make 2, two-sided ornaments or 4 one sided ornaments (use the blank instructions for the back.) This pattern is a simple introduction to tapestry crochet since you’ll only be switching between two colors for that part.
