The Duck Family
An adorable family of ducks - a Mother with a bonnet, a Father with a brimmed hat, young ducklings with stocking caps and a baby duckling just peeking out of its shell.
From the pattern: Mother and father ducks measure 13cm 5in in height, excluding the hats. The ducklings are 9.5cm 3 1/4in high. Baby duckling measures 6cm 2 3/8in, including the egg shell pieces.
From the book notes: All the designs are easy to knit from oddments of yarn, using simple stitches and shaping, without complicated gussets or awkward pieces
Gauge: 3mm needles and single strand of yarn: 26sts = 10cm 4 in in width over st-st. 4mm needles and double strand of yarn: 20sts = 10cm 4 in in width over st-st.
