The Dudley Hat crocheted in a continuous spiral from the brim in a back loop half double crochet stitch creates a super stretchy and soft fabric that is a delight to wear. I can only describe the finished crocheted fabric as SQUISHY! It has bounce, elasticity and a loft that you will fall in love with.

I highly recommend the Malabrigo Rios yarn, which is listed as a worsted weight however I find it to be more of a light worsted weight. It is machine washable and is available in a ton of fantastic super saturated colours. This pattern uses just one skein.
