The Dunes sweater with Dundaga 6/1 (100% wool) 459yds/3.5oz (420m/100g) - more than 10.6oz (300g) - or any yarn with 437-546 yds/3.5oz (400-500m/100g) yardage.

The back and front pieces and the sleeves of the sweater are worked separately.

I recommend to take yarn that DOESN`T hold the rib or cables. • 4mm (US 6, UK 8) and 3.5 mm (US 4) circular needles for knitting the neck. • A pin (a stitch holder) or an additional needle for holding the stitches. • Two cable needles for making cables. • A sewing needle.

  The knitting description is given for four sizes: 

• Russian 42-44 / 46-48 / 50-52 / 54-56;
• European 36-38/ 40-42/ 44-46/ 48-50;
• American 4-6/ 8-10/ 12-14/ 16-18;
• International size S /M /L /XL.

The fitting of the sweater is loose and oversized.
