This pattern is available from lovecrafts.com for £3.90.

This pattern for a chunky knitted scarf with a simple but stylish cable pattern. Creating your own scarf can be a fun way to relax and unwind, and once your finished you will have a warm and cosy accessory to wear during those autumn and winter days!

I would describe this pattern as easy, and for someone who would like to upgrade from beginner level patterns. The cable technique is easy to pick up and is a great way to introduce yourself to cable style knitting techniques.

The example scarf photographed was made using 3 balls of 100g Stylecraft Special Chunky acrylic yarn. Other yarns that can be used are Cascade 128 Superwash, King Cole Big Value Chunky or James C Brett Chunky with Merino.

The final length of the scarf can also be adjusted if you prefer a longer or shorter scarf.
