The Easy Escapade Beanie is fast, simple, and easy. It is completely customizable to any size at nearly every step, so you’ll be sure to get the perfect fit.

You can use either yarn weight #5 or #6 depending on your preference. The adjustments for each yarn weight will be indicated in the pattern. You can also very successfully use a yarn weight #4 with two strands held together. Follow directions and use hooks for yarn weight #5 if you do this.

● Bulky Weight #5 Yarn - approximately 80-90 yards, OR
● Super Bulky Weight #6 Yarn - approximately 70-80 yards
● Hook sizes:
○ for yarn weight 5: K/6.5 mm and L/8 mm
○ for yarn weight 6: M/9 mm and N/10 mm

Gauge is not pertinent for this pattern, since the hat is adaptable and customizable. If worked exactly as written, the final size is 8.5” x 8” tall, laid flat and unstretched. The final dimensions are very easily customizable by adding or subtracting rows as you work the ribbing and the body.
