Maybe like you, I watched the 2008 film and paused it on the beach scene and thought “wow look at that cardigan!”. Cut to a few years later and much internet searching, I couldn’t find a pattern. So I have decided to make my own and offer it to other fans, using a standard cardigan pattern I’ve used before.

Instead of using measurements, I’ve used number of patterns instead to get the placement on the petals in a nice place. The pattern on my cardigan is much bigger than the one in the film, but I didn’t fancy using needles smaller than 4mm! In total I used approx 310g of DK wool yarn, weight 15 wraps-per-inch.

This is to fit a 32” bust but you could easier use the pattern panel on your favourite pattern yourself. I have included the method to have to on a scarf too.
