❉ What you get:
Create the Ekho Skirt with optional Bow with this 11 page pattern. This pattern includes a mixture of detailed written instructions and photos.

This pattern includes instructions to make the following:

  • A bark waistband made to your waist measurement, with lacing holes.
  • The leafy lace skirt itself with contrast leaf tips.
  • A detachable over-sized bow for the back of your skirt.
  • A leaf-ended lacing cord to better secure the waistband of your skirt

❉ Supplies Needed:
Yarn - all of these amounts are general guidelines as the exact amounts required will depend on your neck size. Please note you may likely need more or less.
50g brown aran yarn
200g dark green DK yarn
30g dark green aran yarn
30g lighter green DK yarn

Recommended hooks - 5mm, 4mm hooks

Notions - Yarn needle, stitch markers and measuring tape.

Optional (If you would like your bow to be detachable): 1x large (4-5cm) safety pin1 or blank brooch pin.

❉ Experience Level:
This pattern was written with intermediate crafters in mind. However, I believe that an adventurous beginner who likes a creative challenge would fair reasonably well with it! Please read my FAQ for more information on the experience level required for my patterns.

I do not, however, explain how to work the basic crochet stitches used. You will need to know basic crochet stitches (including sc, hdc, dc, tr, increase/decrease) and how to take and work from basic body measurements.

❉ Sizing:
This pattern is made based on your own measurements, meaning that a measuring tape is essential and I recommend trying on your work as you go. A gauge is not given because you will be working to your own measurements and preferred fit.

❉ Pattern Notes:
This pattern uses US crochet terms.

❉ Usage:
You may absolutely sell anything you personally make from this pattern! This excludes mass production methods. According to creative seller best practices, I ask that you please credit myself, Whymsi Row, as the pattern designer and consider linking to my website www.whymsirow.com on your online item listing(s). Of course I cannot enforce this, but I do the same for my fellow creatives because it is a nice gesture and a sign of respect for one another’s work.
