“The Emily Blanket” is made in ARAN weight merino yarn. The blanket is very soft, lightweight and has a lovely stretchiness to it which lets your little one to stay warm and cosy all around. Beautiful diagonal stripes are reversible, which means that both sides of the blanket are identical. The blanket is a perfect gift for the little one and I am sure it will find a place in the keepsake box after.

The blanket is knit as one piece.

Very basic skills needed to knit this pattern: knit, purl, slip stitch, knit flat on circular needles. Aside from knowing how to knit and purl to create these reversible knitting stitches, you’ll need to know how to weave in ends in your knitting also.
